Terms & Conditions

 

Commencement of work and payment

  • The client is to provide approval of the quotation via our online quote approval process or via email before any work can commence.  By accepting the quote, the client agrees to these terms & conditions.

  • A 50% deposit is required if the quote amount is over $200, deposits are non-refundable.  Payments can be made via instalments if otherwise agreed by both parties.

  • The client agrees to pay the invoiced amount COD (or within 7 days of receipt of an invoice if otherwise agreed).

  • The amount of revision rounds included in the outlined work will be specified in the quote.  If not specified, there will be 2 revisions.  3-5 revisions will be $40 per revision and any subsequent revisions will be $80 thereafter.

 

Unpaid Accounts

  • Overdue accounts will be subject to interest at the rate of 13% p.a., calculated for the period from when the account is due until the date it is paid.

  • In the event where an unpaid account is referred to a collection agency and/or law firm, the client will be liable for all costs that are incurred as if the debt is collected in full, including commission on collection of the additional costs, including legal demand costs.

 

Errors, Omissions & Timely Communication

  • It is the client's responsibility to check proofs carefully for any errors or omissions (such as spelling, phone numbers, ABNs etc), and the client's approval is required before finalisation and/or print.  Argo Print & Design (“APD”) is not liable for any errors or omissions.

  • The client is expected to respond in a timely manner to any changes or information requests.  APD will endeavour to respond to communications with 24-48 hours (where appropriate) and expects a reciprocal timeframe from the client.  APD cannot be held responsible for a delayed timeframe where the client's response time is slower than 24-48 hours.

 

Designs, Copyright & Use

  • It is agreed that the client will have the exclusive right to retain and reproduce any artwork, information, and other output which is produced from the performance of the outlined work.  APD may assign to the client, upon written approval of the work, all rights and interest in the future copyright of said material which is produced, extended or modified during the performance of the outlined work.  This granting of copyright does not extend to the use of design proposals submitted but not approved by APD for the work outlined in the quote.

  • APD retains the right to display the outlined work as examples of its work in various formats (including its portfolio, website and social media) and as content features in other projects.

 

Materials provided

  • APD assumes that the client has permission from the rightful owner to use any image or design elements that are provided by the client for use in the outlined work, and will hold harmless, protect, and defend APD from any claim or suit arising from the use of said elements.

 

Force Majeure

  • APD will not be liable for any delay in the performance of the outlined work, if said delay is caused by circumstances that are outside of its reasonable control.

Voucher - received via email and/or referral

  • Discount vouchers are applicable to design only and do not apply for printing.

  • Where the voucher indicates a validity of 6 months, the term of commencement starts from the date of the email that the voucher is attached to.

  • The voucher cannot be used over multiple jobs - it must be used in one job/transaction.

 

Artwork Specifications

  • If you are providing the completed artwork, our specs are as follows:

    • PDF format, actual size;

    • 3mm bleed;

    • artwork to be at least 5mm in from edge of page;

    • CMYK colour;

    • no crop marks please; and

    • fonts converted to outlines.

  • If this all sounds like another language to you, not to worry!  We are happy to do the artwork setup for you for an additional fee of $40. 

 

Amendments to these Terms & Conditions

  • All and any amendments to the terms and conditions regarding the outlined work must be provided in writing.
